Welcome!

Just a quick note to let you know I've moved my blog to the following address:

http://www.michellebenthamcreates.com

Please visit me at REDEEMED...RESTORED...RELEASED: One Woman's Story of Living Free to read more about what God is doing in my life and how He is working those things to set me free. Thanks so much for following, visiting, reading all about it and supporting me as you have done so many times these last few years. If you follow my other blogs, the posts from all three of my blogs are going to be transferred to the new digs for one big blog about our journey to restoration and freedom in Christ.

Painful Progress...

You know growth is such a messy, painful proposition.

It is a choice.

I can choose to stay here, mired down in my hurt feelings and ugly thoughts - just brood over this entire mess. I could be a victim and demand my rights be restored... I could be, but I don't want to be any of those things.

Sorting is a painful process, but a necessary one. It sifts out the dead and dying things, and reveals the value of the experience. This year I am asking God to bring life back to the dead places of my life. This year I am asking Him for a miracle for my marriage and my family - the impossible. This year I am believing He is the God of all, and that He has my best at heart no matter how I feel at the moment.

I'm standing on the promises and the foundation which is His Rock, Jesus Christ. This Rock cannot be moved or shaken and I cannot be defeated. My God is for me... This day... And He is indeed redeeming the time.

Now, with all of that said: I'm Off To My First Counseling Appointment.

To Be Continued....

P. S. THANK. YOU. All my sweet and lovely blog sisters who have been reading these last few posts and taking up my burden. Thank you for carrying us to the foot of the cross for the Master's tender care. Thank you for covering us and helping me to see that light is shining through the ugliness of this mess... THANK. YOU.

Love you all.

I admire your courage. Often people are not willing to find the victory that is shrouded by fear and the painful hard work that precees it! I am praying for you!

3 He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"
I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."

4 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath [a] enter you, and you will come to life.

I may have said dead dones, meaning dry bones, but here is the scripture sweet friend.

Praying for you and your family. Family is just one foundation that Satan would love to destroy. But as Christians, we have to stand firm against him and know that Jesus is the foundation and we can build upon that! I will continue to lift you up daily.

In Him,
Beth

Greatest message I've got today re: counseling is don't fret the process - Yes, it's necessary and painful and sometimes it really sucks . . . but enjoy and relish in the delight of the gift of today, the minute the moment... the arrival at this point in the process.

Sounds trite perhaps, but standing on the promise of what we DO HAVE in THIS Moment really is all we have. Nothing can defeat you in THIS moment now! The smile that realization brings you will carry you into the next moment, minute, hour, day . . . . . . . .

Wow.. I am praising God for all He is at work doing! I love the pic for Jan 9! I very often have to picture myself a little child crawling up into my (High and Holy) Daddy's arms.

Michelle,

I'm new to your blog but I believe the Lord brought me here tonight to begin to pray for you and your marriage along with others. I will have to read through your other posts but I've read enough thus far to know how to begin praying.

May the peace and restoration found in our Lord rest upon you and your marriage.
